Last Tuesday 27th of November The Sniffers, represented by Jens Antonsson where selected to present about fugitive emissions on the valve world exhibition conference in Dusseldorf. At this venue we are one of the key note speakers and our topic is Flare emission reduction for Ethylene units. Newsflash October 1st 2012 “Afternoon Session & Walking dinner Antwerp” On the 25th of September the Afternoon Session in the Ramada Plaza in Antwerp took place. A big audience appeared on this unique presentation of our SAP software integration. After a welcome word by our CEO, Hans Hooyberghs, our International Sales Managers Jens Antonsson, Giuseppe Caldarulo and Thomas Vermeerbergen gave a presentation of the fugitive emission services we provide. With these services, LDAR, STEAM, AIR PRESSURE, TANKS, IR and FLARE, our IT Director, Stany Smets, presented in how our software is integrated in the different services and did a demonstration. As a conclusion Stany introduced the unique SAP software integration we now provide for our customers. Afterwards everybody had the opportunity to have a informal talk with our team and enjoy a nice walking dinner and a good glass of wine. We want to thank all the people present on this day and we hope it was very instructive. Feel free to contact us: sales@the-sniffers.be Newsflash August 28th 2012 “Steam trap loss management” Steam is usually used to transfer energy from a central place (boiler) to other places in the plant for process applications. Steam will condense, further in the pipeline, on the cooler walls and forms the byproduct condensate. The removal of this condensate is vital for the steam system. A steam trap is used for draining the condensate. The Sniffers will analyze these steam traps on their performance. The Sniffers developed specified software “SNIFTRAP” for maintaining an (historical-)overview of the state of his steam traps and to manage their maintenance.
