The Sniffers will be present on the Pipeline fair 2007
On March 22 nd, 23 rd and 24 th the Pipeline fair 2007 will take place in Hasselt.
The Sniffers will be present on this fair. You will be able to get familiar with our complete service packages at our stand.
Next to that a lecture will be given on the daily seminars. The following items will be discussed with our specialists:
On Thursday the 22 nd :
“ CORROSION PROTECTION ON UNDERGROUND STRUCTURES ”, presented by Koen Neven:
- How does cathode protection work, and what is the relation between the coating of your underground structure and your cathode protection system
- What is the difference between the classical ON and instant-OFF potential measuring
- How to reach cathode protection control on your entire pipeline network
- How to improve result by correct follow-up and data logging of your cathode protection measuring results
On Friday the 23 rd:
“ PIPELINE INTEGRITY INSPECTIONS & THIRD PARTY INTERFERENCE SUPERVISION”, presented by Kristof Verwaest:
- How to optimize cost efficiency and follow-up of the pipeline route after a ‘right of way’ inspection of the pipeline
- How are works, either announced or not, nearby the underground pipeline route, followed-up and brought to a good end
- How occurs the reporting an status follow-up of inspections and ongoing wharfs and can this be visualized geographically into a database or PIMS
- How many variable services can be deployed to optimize the integrity of the pipeline network
On Saturday the 24 th, demonstrations with our special trained dogs will be given, along with our other gas leak detection systems.
