VCA*-2004 certification

Safety is the highest priority for The Sniffers nv. Our SHE policy is based on five principles:

• Prevention of injuries
• Taking care of the safety of others
• Prevention of material damage
• Register the priority of SHE
• Continuous improvement of SHE

An LTA of 0 means proving that these are not simply words. That’s why we were VCA -2000 certified and had no remarks during the last 3 external audits by KIWA.

This year we are renewing our VCA certificate according the 2004 form. For that extra attention is given to waste control and separate waste collection. Also, specific safety plans for each project have to be made if necessary.

The monthly toolbox meetings are an essential element to maintain an LTA of 0. By investigating the reported accidents and incidents, the near-accident, unsafe situations and actions, we are convinced that we can maintain our good safety figures. These reports, along with the safety investigations are the foundation of our risk inventory and prevention and prevent accidents from happening.

By using a yearly safety plan, we continuously try to improve the safety, health and environment of The Sniffers.

For this, the goal of the management is to keep the employees aware of the importance of safety for themselves and their environment.
