Depth of cover survey

Our depth of cover service provides you with useful information relating to the amount of soul cover (to top of pipe) throughout the areas of interest (residential, industrial, cultivated fields, …). Measurements are recorded along the specified scope at predetermined interval (usually every 25 metres).

In addition to regular interval measurements, depth of covers is also recorded at road-, creek, railroad or river crossings, and at locations of extensive elevation change.
The output of this survey indicates you about areas with insufficient depth of cover and regions of occurring and/or potential ground erosion.
Depth of cover surveys is obtainable up to 15 metres with an accuracy of +- 2% up to 2 metres and 5% up to 5 metres.
