Flare emission management software FLAME

A good database is critical to the performance of a flare emission monitoring and maintenance program. It also provides the client with a basic foundation on which the cost/ benefit ratio can be enhanced. Another aspect of the monitoring program is to help defining what kind of equipment is not or best suited for a specific service.
A key feature of the FLAME expert based data management software, which is offered, as a part of The Sniffers flare emission monitoring program, is the ability to record leak history. The internal quality check of the input by the field validation guarantees the quality of the data, while the online help functions provide a helping hand when questions might arise or help is required.

This database was jointly created with Winters Software and major clients within the industry. The close co-operation between the developers and the customers has been extremely important in the development of our FLAME software. This joint action made it possible to find out what kind of information was needed to register and what users would like to get out of the application. The interaction has already started in the experience exchange period, throughout the design phase to the actual programming and testing of the software.
The basis for the software lies within the structure of the flare systems within a plant. The main structure of the application can be described as follows:

Today, this application can be installed on customer's premises (end-user PC and/or LAN environment) or can be accessed through the Internet on our servers (Citrix terminal server principle). This mean we can be your Application Service Provider and manage the Hardware and Software so you always will have an optimised infrastructure with the latest information available.
